Mandatory Critical Stage Inspections
In NSW, the legislation mandates critical stage inspections ensuring compliance with the Building Code of Australia, relevant Australian Standards, and development consent conditions, including consistency with approved plans.
A number of “critical stage inspections” are required to be carried out during the construction of a building. This is to ensure the building works comply with the Building Code of Australia, Australian Standards and any conditions of approval.
